Haitian Zhisheng Die-Casting Attends 2025 Magnesium Industry Conference and Announces Plans for “Next-Generation” Magnesium Injection Equipment
2025-04-03

From March 31 to April 2, the 2025 Magnesium Industry Chain and Market Forum was grandly held in Jinhua, Zhejiang. With the theme “Magnesium – Lightening Chinese Manufacturing, Empowering the Low-Carbon Economy,” the forum gathered industry experts, business leaders, and research institutions to discuss the innovative applications of magnesium materials in lightweighting, new energy, and other fields. As a co-organizer, Haitian Zhisheng Die-Casting actively participated in the forum and announced its new plan for magnesium alloy injection molding machines, demonstrating its strength and responsibility as an industry leader.
The forum focused on the holistic development of the magnesium industry, with in-depth discussions on material innovation, advanced equipment technologies, process breakthroughs, and the policy environment. A dedicated exhibition zone featured more than 40 companies from across the magnesium value chain, showcasing their latest alloy products, cutting-edge processing technologies and equipment, raw and auxiliary materials, as well as related services. Notably, Academician Pan Fusheng of the Chinese Academy of Engineering delivered a keynote report on “The Strategic Role of Magnesium Materials in Shaping New Productive Forces for Future Industries,” providing the event with both academic depth and forward-looking insights.
At the opening ceremony, Le Xiaodong, General Manager of Haitian Zhisheng Die-Casting, delivered a keynote speech as a special guest. He highlighted the global influence of Haitian Group in high-end equipment manufacturing and outlined Haitian Zhisheng Die-Casting’s core strengths within the magnesium alloy value chain. He noted that under the carbon neutrality agenda, the market has placed higher demands on magnesium forming processes. To accelerate the large-scale application of magnesium, the company has rapidly expanded its R&D capabilities, strengthened its magnesium alloy development team, and pushed forward the pace of innovation.
This year, the company plans to launch an ultra-large magnesium alloy injection molding machine equipped with parallel dual injection screws, capable of producing extra-large and heavy magnesium alloy components. In addition, for thick-walled structural parts such as electric drive housings, Haitian Zhisheng Die-Casting will introduce a “next-generation” dedicated magnesium alloy injection molding solution, specifically designed to ensure the high-quality forming of thick-walled products.
Yesterday afternoon, Ge Qiwei, Director of the Magnesium Alloy Division at Haitian Zhisheng Die-Casting, delivered a keynote speech titled “Development and Application of Large Magnesium Alloy Injection Molding at Haitian,” sparking wide discussions among participants. He highlighted that Haitian’s self-developed magnesium alloy injection molding machines feature high precision, high efficiency, and low energy consumption. The resulting products demonstrate improved density and superior mechanical properties, outperforming traditional die-casting processes.
On the application side, Haitian has partnered with multiple automakers, mold manufacturers, and component suppliers to successfully develop large, complex magnesium alloy parts, providing lightweight solutions for automotive components such as tailgate inner panels, dashboard crossbeam brackets, and wheels.
As the global push for carbon neutrality accelerates, magnesium alloys are entering a golden era of development. As a benchmark enterprise in magnesium alloy equipment, Haitian Zhisheng Die-Casting will continue to drive innovation with low-carbon responsibility, expanding magnesium applications and accelerating large-scale adoption—helping reduce the “weight” of Chinese manufacturing while empowering the global green economy.
